Season-less Skirt

This skirt is an oldie, and when I first received it as a gift (thanks, mom!) I struggled with how to style it. I paired it with a white top and sandals in the summer (seen here), but beyond that felt stuck for awhile. 

Then, on a day of outfit desperation in the middle of winter, I pulled it out from the back of my closet as a wildcard pick and was pleasantly surprised by how well it paired with black tights and sweater. I decided to use Sunday's sudden change to cooler temps as an excuse to wear the outfit one last time before the weather warms up for good. 

See what I just did there? Trying real hard to will warm weather into existence.
