Confetti Chronicles: New York City

Despite the rain and chilly temperatures, this weekend in New York City was perfect. I'm planning to share a full travel recap Wednesday, but until then here's a little compilation of our trip!

Confetti Chronicles: Volume II

Isn't Monday exponentially harder when you had a weekend that you never wanted to end? I am experiencing a serious case of the Mondays this morning after a weekend spent in Louisville celebrating one of my best friends who gets married this weekend!

Our weekend contained a little of everything - relaxing & laughter on Friday night with the help of Cards Against Humanity (inappropriate & so good) followed by a wine & paint class during the day on Saturday and some serious dancing & singing at a Piano Bar that night. While I'm extra tired today, I can't wait to reunite with all of these ladies this weekend to watch my beautiful friend walk down the aisle, it's going to be amazing :)

Vested Interest

This past weekend, I was outside for a little football tailgating and watching, and had an epiphany that a few vests would do my fall/winter wardrobe some good. 

It seems like a there is a vest for any occasion - from fur to leather, they can be styled for a casual weekend errands or to add some punch to your everyday workwear (see above). I threw together some of my favorite options, but if you're looking for more I also love these picks: red leather, frilly menswear, camo, & utility. I think I'm going to start my collection with a little fur, what about you? How are you wearing vests this fall?

Confetti Chronicles // Life Lately

Summer has been fab. While I haven't crossed everything off my mental warm weather to-do list, life has been full of some pretty great things lately. Here's a few highlights!

Attended a launch party for a dear friends' new shop, Tiny Easels. Check this girl out, she's incredibly talented and an even better friend. Double whammy!

My very first niece will be here in May! Got to spend the weekend in Alabama with family celebrating. 

 (sorry for the blur but had to share this picture of my beautiful family! Hard to tell I'm related by marriage right, I look just like them ;) Can you even tell one is pregnant? Didn't think so, she looks amazing!)
