I still haven't gotten over my craving to head east this fall and explore America's historic cities. Although we don't have immediate travel plans in our future, I'd love to add Philadelphia to our must-visit list. I've been to the city of brotherly love once for a solid 24 hours - meaning I didn't see or do anything.
For a second trip, I'd throw on bright, rich colors with some cozy knits (the east cost brings out the prep in my step) to explore Independence Hall, visit the Liberty Bell, reenact the famous Rocky-stairs scene, and stuff my face with a philly cheesesteak. I also wouldn't mind following this list of "must-do's"- free is always better.

I don't have any travel plans yet. I would love to travel east too! Road trips I would be my dream.

Happy to see that Philly made it on your must-visit list! Cheesesteaks are a must, and while you're in Center City, you should make a stop at Love Park and do some shopping on Walnut St. And of course take a little break in Rittenhouse Sq :)
